Organic Heavy Metal Detox

Heavy metals is the term used for a group of elements that have particular weight characteristics. They are on the "heavier" end of the periodic table of elements. Some heavy metals - such as copper, iron, manganese, and zinc - are essential to health in trace amounts. Others are non-essential and can be harmful to health in excessive amounts. These include cadmium, thallium antimony, mercury, lead, and arsenic - these last three being the most common in cases of heavy metal toxicity.
Heavy metal toxicity is an excessive build-up of metals in the body. Oftentimes, the symptoms produced by heavy metal toxicity are mistakenly perceived as incurable chronic conditions.
Why is this Important to my Health?
Since World War II, we have developed more than 80,000 chemicals for use in cleaners, pesticides, plastics, personal care products, industrial products and other conveniences. Chronic exposure may result from contaminated food (i.e pesticides, PCB's), air, water, or dust; amalgam fillings, living near a hazardous waste site; spending time in areas with deteriorating lead paint; and many other potential sources. Evaluating your living and working habits may help pinpoint potential heavy metal sources.
As daily exposure to toxins has increased, many people cannot excrete these heavy metals and chemicals efficiently enough and
a build-up occurs in the body. When numerous metals are present in the body, they have a “synergistic toxicity. A good example of "synergistic toxicity" is a study performed by Dr. Boyd Haley, professor and chair of the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Boyd found that the mortality rate of rats exposed to a small dose of mercury or aluminum killed only 1 rat in 100. However, when the rats were exposed to both mercury and aluminum at the same time, all 100 rats died—a 100% mortality rate.8

The RED line represents the first morning urine of a healthy male, no amalgam fillings in teeth. The patient on his own, is able to excrete 2 ppm (parts per million) of mixed heavy metals. This excretion stops by his third urination of the day.
The GREEN line represents the first morning urine on the same male patient, next day, or day 2. After voiding (urinating) patient is given a large dose of NDF - 2 droppers full. The very next urination he is excreting 10 ppm of mixed heavy metals. He continues to remove higher levels of heavy metals through out the day until his fifth urination.
